STRATEGIC RESOURCE CENTER

The Strategic Resource Center (SRC) is a web-based, dynamic repository of resources that support all aspects of “planning and performance management” in health care organizations.


Its four sections are:
  1. Checklists. Integrating polices and procedures into daily operations are the best, if not the only, way to leverage knowledge. It assures consistency, timeliness and accountability and minimizes knowledge attrition due to employee turnover.

  2. Templates. Having someone tell you how to do something that you’ve never done before is useful. If they show you how to do it, it’s even better.   4. Benchmarking. Performance measurement/management has value only in when outcomes are presented in some type of comparison, e.g. over time, compared to expectations (budget) and compared to industry norms and/or peers. The first two of thee are routinely handled in PPM performance management programs and reports. Normative and peer group comparison is available through SRC Benchmarking.

       Strategic Resource Center Benchmarking
      Obtaining current, valid and meaningful benchmark data from appropriate peer groups has always been a challenge for health centers. The reluctance to share and the lack of comparability in terms of parameters and calculations have made it all but impossible. Uniform parameter sets/mapping and standard calculations make it possible for PPM users to generate benchmark reports (drawn from PPM users’ database), tailored to their demographic environment, on demand.

    Features :
    • Reports can include any ratio/comparative statistic from the Vital Signs reporting set.
    • Reports can be generated for any time period (for which there is data)
    • Peer group definable by geographic, service and volume demographic sets.
    • Report content and peer group customizable by each user
    • Reports can be comparative with variance or trended over time.
    • Results can be presented graphically
